DOyou expect sucrose to form adark color complex beside iodine? why or why not?

You should not expect such an outcome. Iodine forms a complex with starch. This is because the iodine intercalates inside amylose coil. Bear in mind starch is a polymer and sucrose isn't. So you do not expect iodine to form a the gloom blue complex with Sucrose.
I don't expect sucrose to do anything at adjectives because I am clueless about science and not afraid to accept it.
only god know
It is the starch not sucrose that forms a color complex with Iodine.
