Does the navel front to anywhere inside the body? Where?

Ligamentum teres leads from inside the navel to liver.
The navel is truly the scar where on earth your umbilical cord use to attach to your body in the womb.
However:
"As economically as the visible depression on a person's stomach, the underlying abdominal muscle layer also present a concavity; thinness at this point contributes to a relative structural poor quality, making it susceptible to hernia."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/umbilicus.
Nope, it stops right where it is.
It's a insensible end dent.
it used to: to the liver, but it closes bad shortly after birth
